Public Interest Wild Life Ads

Advertising, in its non-commercial guise, is a powerful educational tool capable of reaching and motivating large audiences. “Advertising justifies its existence when used in the public interest—it is much too powerful a tool to use solely for commercial purposes.” Attributed to Howard Gossage by David Ogilvy. This is by far one of the most thought provoking series of pictures. It is really sad that we are the cause for so much harm when there are so many of us that want to make changes for the better. This is something that could awaken people from their self induced slumber regarding awareness about climate change and environmental issues.

@ Fern Hotels Thank you for the feedback, true the ads are powerful but they can go only so far. Agree with your premise that it is up to each of us to do our part in every small thing we do.Hopefully it is not too late for the animals which are still around.
